Cylindrical Roller Bearings are bearing in which cylinders are used as the rolling elements as opposed to balls in ball bearings.
There are different types designated as NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF (for single-row bearings), NNU, and NN (for double-row bearings depending on the design or absence of side ribs).
The outer and inner rings of all types are separable.
NU352 the cylindrical rollers are in linear contact with the raceway, with a high capability to bear radial load, which is suitable for both heavy and impact load and high-speed rotation.
Row cylindrical roller bearings NU352 can accommodate heavy radial loads and high speeds. These bearings are mainly used for medium and large motors, generators, internal combustion engines, machine tool main shafts, speed reducers, loading, unloading and handling machineries, various industrial machineries. The rollers in a single row cylindrical roller bearing NU352 (fig 1) are always guided between the integral "open" flanges on one of the rings. These "open" flanges combined with the specially designed and surface treated roller ends, provide improved lubrication, reduced friction and consequently lower operating temperature.
The ring with the integral flanges together with the cylindrical roller and cage assembly can be separated from the other ring. This results in easy mounting and dismounting, particularly where the load conditions are such that interference fits are required for both rings.
